Welcome to this online guide to Otakar Ševčík’s Op. 3 Variations as transcribed for cello by Louis Feuillard. It is my hope that this guide will serve as a written and audio-visual companion to these venerable variations. In the menu tab titled 'Op. 3 Variations' you will find the ordered list of variations from theme to variation 40. Each page contains an embedded YouTube video of the variation and a written supplement to guide your journey through the variations. 

A portion of each video is slowed down to half-speed to allow you to more easily assess the bowing technique presented in each variation. Additionally, each variation has a set of hashtags associated with it that allow you to see which techniques are going to be studied at a glance.
